Description

OneBlock is my new survival map in which you stand on a lonely block floating in the void. You can mine the same block over and over, and it gives you basic materials that slowly become better and better. You go through certain phases, and the infinite block slowly upgrades to better blocks, chests and new mobs!

If you experience any problems with this map, one of the options below may help you. Should none of those options address your problem, you may want to report a bug using the checkbox at the bottom.

There may be multiple reasons if the map does not show up in the Singleplayer menu.

  • If you have a lot of worlds, the map might just be buried somewhere in between them in the menu!
  • Some 'Unzipping' programs may wrap the unzipped folder in another folder. Open the folder and if there is only a single folder inside, that folder inside is the actual map! Move that single folder outside, and use it instead! If there is a level.dat file is inside that folder, it is the right map folder!

This can happen if you play the map in the wrong Minecraft version. You can try to use a backup or down-/upgrade the world's version to the right Minecraft version.

If the infinite block does not spawn any new blocks, this may be because of one or multiple of the following reasons:

  • You are playing the map on the wrong Minecraft version.
  • Singleplayer: You have mods or other data packs installed that interfere with the map.
  • Multiplayer: You are using a modded Minecraft server (e.g. Bukkit, Spigot) instead of the default Minecraft server.

Natural mob spawning is enabled by default in the map. If no mobs appear to spawn, this may have multiple reasons:

  • Mobs can not spawn within a 24 block spherical distance of your spawn point.
  • Multiplayer: You run the map on a server (e.g. Bukkit, Spigot) that disables mob spawning.

That's not a bug. The map only supports one infinite block. Ubuntu virtual machine mac free. Copying or multiplying the infinite block for multiple players is not possible at the moment.

Each phase has a different theme, which may relate to one or multiple biomes. However, the Overworld is only set in the Plains biome. That means, everywhere you go in the world (except for other dimensions), you have the environment of a Plains biome, regardless of what the infinite block spawns.

Just uploaded a small hotfix for the last OneBlock update. The enchanted books from the rare chests weren't working, but now they do. To receive the hotfix (if you have already added the last update), just download the map again and exchange the data pack! =) Image

I've worked on a new OneBlock update the last two weeks, and it was released a few hours ago! 👍
Here's some of the new features:
- rare chests, items and blocks in Afterphases
- tutorial
- interactive help menu
- revival kits after death
- enabled natural structure generation Image

Aaaaand the 2nd update for OneBlock is online!
If you installed the 1st update (or downloaded the map after January 7th), you can simply replace the data pack to get it!
Notes:
- added a 'blocks mined' counter
- the infinite block now spawns all horse types
- various bug fixes
